The Sweat and Serenity Sessions (90 mins):
Modern athletic training unites with traditional yoga in a dance of breath. A steady yet vigorous flow of postures challenge and strengthen physically and mentally while tapping into the inner spirit. Get hot, get sweatty, be challenged... All levels welcome.
The GlowFlow/Sunset/Sunrise Series (75ish mins):
A relatively gentle slow flow based series of postures will open the heart and calm the mind... postures dance with breath and body awareness as we strengthen and shape muscles, improve flexibility, increase circulation and enhance inner calm. All levels welcome.
The Moonlight/Morning/Midday Medley (1 hour(ish)):
A big dose of self-serve "chill-axin". A mellow way to round off an evening or even a gentle way to jump start the upcoming day. This hour(ish) long class is a medley of zazen sitting meditation followed by pranayama (breathing exercises) which lead to a blissful asana practice (mostly restorative postures), topped off with a deep relaxation. All levels welcome.

By donation is sometimes a somewhat foriegn and bizarre concept to truly grasp. Basically what you give (bring to the mat) is what you'll get from the class. The thing about "by donation" is that sometimes it will feel like too much and sometimes it won't feel like enough, the most important thing is just to be honest with(in) yourself. P.S. -- no one is watching!

Always a portion of all East End Zen drop in donation fees goes towards charity. We also will always (not just @ christmas) accept non perishable food items, for the food bank as a part of (or all of) your East End Zen drop in donation fee.

Warrior Boot Camp!!!:
Do the dew as basic training partners with our early morning waking warrior dance. It's outside... it's intense... it's focussed and it's hard core... Enlist in this yoga workout that uses your body, your breath and props (yoga blocks, belts, medicine balls, weights etc.) to take your practice to the next level. We're up doin' our thing in the crisp mornin' air (6:00 am-7:00 am) and we just give 'er... goin' deep, breathin' hard then takin' on our days... what could be better?
Find a day that will work for you, sign up for your session... set your alarm and buckle up, this is going to be some crunked up yoga... deepen your practice, get strong, get lean, work your core, increase flexibility and heighten mental clarity. Whether you're training for a sport, toning for the beach or just wanna kick up your practice warrior boot camp is for you!!! These sessions will meet once a week and the session intro rate is $75 for 6 classes or for $90 get your boot camp + 3 anytime drop in classes (during your 6 class session)... you can pre register to secure your spot or drop in (no passes). Feelin' like a big time warrior and want to do more than one session ask about "the full meal deal".
20 day challenge: 4 weeks 4 yourself, inside, outside, upside down. (off for the summer)
For twenty days in we, waking warriors, will practice each morning from Monday to Friday @ 7:15 am (sharp). This is a a rare and sacred opportunity to challenge (if only for a moment) your practice, on and beyond the mat, and to fully commit (if only for a breath) to the essence which is YOU. Each class will take us through a different exploratory theme, a dose of dharma and a splash of karma.
Take this time, to delve into the depths of (inner) strength, experience the sweetness or pure sweat, to the revel in the power of absolute release and to bath in the beauty of deep de-toxing. Along with our practice, each week we will do a group event together, perhaps a hike, rock climbing, tobogganing... (additional costs may apply for events). We will close off the series with a celebration @ the HoodRatz:StreetZen: 4th Friday Fe(a)st (all welc(om)e). The series will cost $125 (excluding f(e)ast, and weekly group events).
These sessions are pre register, you must pre register to secure your spot in what has the potential to be a powerful practice of personal transformation.

Mats, Props and more:
Finally... since we are in fact a true fully equipped studio on wheels we do have yoga mats available for you to borrow for your practice with us. We also have all of the props you could need to make your practice safe and comfortable. Truth be told we will always encourage everyone to bring their own mat. This is to invite each yogi to practice beyond their EEZ class times.
We also have mats available for purchase. Standard mats with carry straps are $25 (various colours) and smaller thinner more compact "travel" mats are $20 (purple only)...prices inc. taxes.
